A 2007 study showed that mere exposure to more sexy female images causes a man to devalue their real-life partner. He rates her lower not only on attractiveness but also on warmth and intelligence. Also, after porn consumption subjects in both sexes have reported less satisfaction with their partners including their affection, appearance, sexual curiosity and performance. Both men and women assign increased importance to sex without emotional involvement.
